WE! WERE! THERE! YEAH!!!!

I have to say that it was one of the most wonderful night in my life (hohoho :> )!
Ok... I'm sorry, I'm still very excited so I'm afraid there will be many exclamation marks...

All right, I'll start from the beginning. I think it was only one disappointing thing of the whole event... Because before the concert there was supposed to be a chance to play video games. But there was only Guitar Hero and Need for Speed on some kind of cell phone, or something... so... heh. :< I've never played Guitar Hero before but the atmosphere was so great that I decided to try! And I did my best… 14%... The song we were all playing was Aerosmith’s “Sweet Emotion”… We heard it so many times that I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to listed to it anymore…
After that wonderful competition, after standing in an enormous queue to the buffet (because when we were entering the building they took my water!!! :< So we had to buy a new one…very expensive one… ) the concert finally began! The “leader” of the whole concert was awesome Tommy Tallarico, whose guitar with Spider Man really rocked!
First there was music from very old games, like Space Invaders, Tetris, Contra and many others I don’t know. When they played music from Kingdom Hearts I was screaming like crazy! Then they took one person from the audience (uh, I wish it was meee!) and they let him play Space Invaders on the stage! He had to run to left and right to make the ship move. He looked really hilarious… He didn’t won but he got the prize. Lucky!
Then it was a time for Martin Leung performance. His play on the piano was so amazing… First he played some music from Final Fantasy (like Aeris theme or “To Zanarkand” from FFX) I thought I was going to cry… Later he was playing music from Mario with his eyes covered up.
There were many stunning tracks like music from WoW, Medal of Honor, Halo, Crono Trigger, Castlevania and of course once again from FF7: One Winged Angel. During that song they were showing some awesome photos of the people cosplaying characters from FF7. One of those I recognize was *NanjoKoji, ~niemtold and I think there was also =FujimiyaRan, but I’m not sure.
There was also music from Zelda, Sonic, Mario (again), Megaman and many, many others.
One of the most exciting moment was when the winner of the Guitar Hero competition had to play… yes, SWEET EMOTION on the stage. Tommy Tallarico (who was trying really hard to pronounce the winner’s surname) was playing with him on the real guitar (yes, that one with Spider Man!). The competitor had to gain 150 000 points and of course, he did it.
I was so sad when everything ended… but, guys if you never seen VGL and you will have an opportunity… YOU HAVE TO GO!
